This one happened many many years ago when I was about 10 (possibly). My family and I were on a trip somewhere (I can't remember) and we decided to stop and let poppi fish for a little bit and take a break from driving. To get down to the river you had to go down a pretty steep hill, and down below there were lots of huge rocks and then the river. We all got down fine, but as were we getting closer to leaving, one of my younger brothers and I decided to race to the top of the steep hill and get a good seat in the van. As I got close to the top of the hill, I slipped on something and started sliding down the hill on my bottom (I had shorts on too...ouch!), and was coming down pretty fast and couldn't stop myself. I remember praying for God to stop me somehow, so I tried grabbing at all the plants on the side, but nothing was holding my weight, until I got to a fern. I'm not really sure how this fern could've held me except with Gods help, because these were all twinkie little ferns that could've broke easy. But it stayed rooted, and the leaves didn't break at all as I cling to it until someone got to me.
Even back when I was a little girl God was there protecting me, and showing me what He can do. I walked away with scrapes and a very sore bottom.
I suppose I should probably just stay away from rocks, rivers and hills/cliffs! hehehehe!

God is there even when our "knight in shining armor" Daddy can't be!
What a sweet testimony. Sounds like something out of a movie! But no special effects just the sweet hand of God reaching out to save you. I like your description of those (twinkie little ferns)I think they're called Lady Lace Fern (unless they have black veins underneath, then they're licorice fern :/ Have a sweet day!
Iam glad the Lord had lots of mercy on you. Life would be sad with out my little friend. When I was raising my kids I was always comforted that they had a guardian angel watching over them. Many times my hand was short. It is sweet to look back and remember how the Lord plainted faith in there hearts.
I love reading your praise of God and the mercy he has had on you.
That's another awesome story. I've seen scenes like you described in movies, but usually they end up slowly breaking (ya know, for suspense). I'm glad you didn't fall any more down that hill. God is awesome, it sounds like he has been with you a few times. I'm sorry that you had scrapes and a sore bottom though :( But at least you didn't brake any bones or anything.
I thought that I already left a comment until I looked back..Sorry.....I love all the testimonies that you have been leaving...
