Church

Last night we had an awesome church! A brother from a church close by, came to church last night, which was a nice surprise, and there were 5 prophecies. I've never heard of getting more than 2 prophecies in church, but this was awesome. The first one went to the whole church, just saying that God has prepared a place for us all in heaven and that, and He just told us all to prepare ourselves for the time is closer than we think. And to the young ones to seek Him for spiritual gifts. So that was pretty cool. It had been on my mind the last week or so, that we're supposed to seek God for gifts, but I was just thinking how can I ask God to give me a gift when I don't feel like I'd deserve one? It just scares me that I'd do the wrong thing, or be lifted up in it (God forbid). But it's good stuff to think about and pray about.

I also received a prophecy last night, and it just answered all my fears and worries in the trial I'm in. Last night I was letting myself get into the depths of despair, and feeling like the adversary was just there putting doubts and worries in my head all day. So I'm thankful God heard my prayers last night and took all the worries and silly stupid things in my head away that the adversary was trying to put in my mind.

Glasses Found

Yesterday I had been praying that I'd find my glasses somewhere in the house, and wasn't really having any luck. And last night I went to bed, again praying that I'd find them somewhere. When I woke up, it came to my mind that they might be in my car in a jacket pocket, so I rushed out there as soon as I got up, and kept doubting that I was going to find it there. But sure enough, they were in my jacket pocket! So, thankfully they are now found. :D Just reminds me again, that God can even hear the smallest of my problems.

Lost Glasses

I can't find my glasses! I only wear them when I'm driving to see signs far away, but I've searched the house high and low for them, and can't find them anywhere. And I can't remember where I last set them down!! I always feel sick to my stomach when I loose something that's alot of money. So today, I'm going to still search the house as I clean it, and see if I can find it.

  1. Anyways, last night we had a birthday party for Abigail, and for Tiffany. I had alot of fun just watching Abigail. She opened the first few presents, and they were clothes, so she pulled them all out and threw them behind her and searched for more things in the boxes. Once she got to a book that was in one of her presents, she took it and ran to the corner of the living room and sat down to read. Lol, she would've been just happy with a little book. Anyways, I got some great pictures of Abby making weird faces. She didn't want to just smile, she wanted to look like a puppy she said...O_o

Car Accident

We're fine, We didn't get hurt, but Mandy and I got in an accident today. I don't know if you can really call it an accident, but someone hit the back of Mandy's car when I was driving. Thankfully there were no dents on either car, but that's the first time I've ever been the driver when I've gotten in an 'accident'.
What happened was, we were on this big turn to merge onto the highway when down below there was another (way worse) car accident that had happened a few minutes before. In one of those cars, a dog escaped and was running around the turning merging lane that we were in with the owner running after it and yelling, so people of course put their brakes on for the owner and their dog, so I did the same. The person behind us must not have been paying attention, or was driving way to close to us, and hit us when I hit the brakes. When it happened all I was thinking was, "They're going to be mad! Their going to be mad! Jordan is going to be mad! I don't wanna see anything!!" I didn't even think to stop and say a little prayer that they all wouldn't be mad at me for it. The guy got out of the car and came to my door and was really sorry and just said he couldn't see anything wrong with both our cars...I really thought it was going to be worse. I though there would be a scratch or a dent because of how loud it sounded to me! The guy just kept saying over and over how sorry he was and we traded info and stuff and went on our way. I'm so thankful God watched over us, and didn't let the guy get upset at me. And of course I should've known better that Jordan wouldn't get upset at me, but it's their new car, and I was the one that got it in its first 'accident'.And thankfully we were hurt way worse like the car accident below us. My wrist hurts a little bit, but if that's all that's wrong, I'm glad! >.O

Depths of Despair

Even in the most depth of despair, I can find strength. When I feel like I can't hardly get out of bed, God comforts me in some way, whether it be someone texting me or calling me throughout the day, or just relieves me of all the worrying that I feel even if its for a few hours. It's nice to know you can go to God with all your cares, and He'll be there for you in a second.I don't know if I could find a sweeter, better friend to go with my cares.

I was at work today, just trying to be happy even though I'm feeling like I'm in the depths of despair, I just prayed that God would give me the strength to get through the next hour when its seems impossible. And just prayed that brethren that I haven't heard from in a long time or normally don't talk to would just send me a text or call, and not even 5 minutes later I get text message after text message from different brethren that never text me, just telling me that they love me, and to go to God with every care of mine. God's too sweet to me. I just want to get through this trial, and not fail God in anything or get so discouraged and mope around. I want to be happy and have the confidence that God will get me through this in His good time. And He'll bring me something better if I just lean on Him and trust Him with my whole heart. So I'm going to find happiness in my trial. :)

Family Fun Center?

The boys(Russell, Timmy, Jonathan,Danny and Jason Jonathan's friend) decided they wanted to go to this family fun center in Salem this weekend, and so Kristen and I decided off and on that we wanted to go too. The Family Fun Center is just an arcade game place with go karts, mini golfing, water bumpers, and more arcade games. It was crazy there. They had cool games there that i've never seen before! Russell and I played "Percussion Master" which is like "Dance Dance Revolution" but with sticks and 3 drums. Lol, it was pretty funny. I'm not at all good at drumming or figuring out how to go along with a beat well. But somehow I managed to clear all three stages! :D Too fun Russell, too fun!
Kristen and I finally decided we wanted to go after the boys all left. It's about a 1 1/2 hour drive from where we are, so by the time we got there the boys were looking like they wanted to go home! But I played 2 arcade games, and then went go kart racing twice with everyone. I don't know if you can win at that, but I don't think I even finished my laps! :P I got a cheesy go kart and it wouldn't start for a while after everyone zoomed off. Pretty much after that Kristen and I left because we thought the boys were going to get ready to leave. We just went out to lunch and then stopped at a mall that we both have never been to before. It was kinda cool just to walk around and look at all the store signs. heehee.

Oh, just got a call from Sis. Kristen saying she wants to come over and make a skirt with me. It'll be interesting to see if I can figure it out without mom's help. >.<

Wowzer

This is a big change, huh? I was taking a break from some of my projects that I'm doing today, and started looking up pictures of rain drops, and found some really cool pictures. Anyways, it's different then the cheerful looking polka dots, huh? I'll probably decide to switch back to the polka dots, but for now this'll be what it looks like for a bit.

Anyways, I got lots to do today! I'm going to get ready up ahead of time for secret sister stuff, and than I want to make another skirt or two out of a pair of jeans and a pair of shorts. I'll try and post pictures of them both if I remember! :P

My Friday

Today is my friday! :D It feels so nice to be able to stay home ALL of friday with mom and Jonny! Hooray! I've been working alot more than I used to for my bosses because they're getting ready to sell their house and just got finished moving their CPA office down the street to another building. It's been a crazy couple of months for me and for them. Anyways, I'm just excited to have an early friday this week! :D

Hmm, not a whole lot has been going on here. A week or so ago I was arm wrestling my sis-in-law just for the fun of it to see who was strongest...well we ended up equal, and we were really struggling to beat each other, and in doing that my wrist got tweaked and started hurting pretty bad. So when I pick things up with my right hand it feels like it's about to break sometimes. >_< Ick. I've gotta wear an arm brace thingie to keep my hand straight for when I'm picking up little kiddies at work and at church. Last night my sis-in-law called me after church and told me her wrist had been hurting ever since we arm wrestled. I think we both agree that we won't be doing that anytime soon, or at all. Lol. It's kinda funny when you have to explain why you're wearing the brace though. Bro. Ed got a good laugh at it at church last night. He said, "If that's the dumbest thing you've ever done, then girl, you're doing alright!" Heehee, I love bro. Ed. ^-^

Hope you all enjoy the music. I didn't do gospel music this time. I though Yanni was a little more quieter to listen to while you're lookin at the blog. I find myself singing along with everyone's music instead of reading their blogs. Lol! But maybe this'll make you fall asleep real fast. ;D It is Yanni! :P

Halloween Party!!!

Me, Sis. Catie and Jonny As: Dorothy, Wicked Witch, and Scarecrow!

Alright! The Halloween Party turned out to be ALOT of fun! When everyone got there, we sat down for dinner (Which was white chili, salad, and cornbread. Yummy!). Then we got set up with a few games. We started off with Sis. Kristen's "Box of Doom" game, where you stick you hand in a box and it's got something nasty feeling inside and you have to guess what it all is. Then we played Sis. Lorri's game that was called "Trick or Treat" it was a trivia game on stuff about Halloween. If you got it wrong, you got a trick (you got sprayed by silly string) and if it was right, you got a candy bar treat! That was a cute game. The last game was "Pin the face pieces on the pumpkin". And then there was the Costume Contest! Poppi was the winner of that. :)
Danny and Kristen as Mad Hatter and Alice and Wonder Land

Timothy II as a Tiger!

Amy's sweet punch she made us

Poppi, Winner of the costume contest, AS....Speed Racer!

Branden as Indiana Jones ^-^

Poppi and Timothy as Speed Racer and Wesley from "Princess Bride"

Mandy as Little Red Riding Hood

Mom and Sister Dayna as Martha and Mary (From the Bible)

Sis. Catie, sis. Lorri, and Sis. Eileen as Wicked Witch of the West, good witch, and Black Widow!

That's alot of pictures...and not even all of them. There are a few people I didn't get pictures of, or there were a few I DID, but they didn't turn out at all. :( Abby and James went as Tinkerbell and Peter Pan, but I couldn't find a good enough picture of them. Sorry!
