Running in streets

Saturday as I was on my way home from dropping a friend off at her house, I took a side road home, that I don't normally take. I was driving down the road, and there was a lady in her car to my right, stopped at a stop sign. She decided to go, probably thinking it was a 4 way stop..it wasn't. So I slam on my brakes, and toot my horn at her, and started mumbling to myself about it, but then something caught my attention up ahead in the road. A little boy ran right into the road, like he was running away from something. If I had kept going, and that car didn't stop me, I would've hit him, and probably killed him. He came out from between two cars, so I wouldn't have saw him until I hit him...
I was so ashamed afterwards, because I was getting so frustrated with the woman for going when she wasn't supposed to, when it was probably God saving me (AND the little boy) from having something traumatic happen. Anyways, I'm so thankful that she pulled in front of me, not just because I didn't hit the boy...

Oh Raine that would have been terrible if you had hit the boy!!! Not that it would be your fault or anything, but it would feel horrible to have been in that situation. I'm thankful that lady did what she did too. I've heard some very similar testimony's from some of the brethren when someone passed them on the highway, and when that person came to the 4 way stop (when it would have been the brothers turn to go) the person who had passed him got hit by a car that didn't stop! The brother told me "that was going to be me that got hit!". I'm thankful that the Lord watches over us. <3

That is a neat story. I'm so happy that everything worked out. It is amazing how God does work these things out, even when things don't seem to be going right. I'm thankful for you and that boy's sake that God was watching over you both :)

It is so wonderful to have God watching over us. I am so glad that he worked everything out for you. I try not to get mad when stuff like that happens to me cause you never know when it's God watching over you.

What an encouraging post that the Lord sees farther down the road than we do and that with his gentle hand He can lead to do what He needs us to do. I'm so thankful God watched over you and that everyone was safe.

That is such a scary thing but thankfully we have such a good Father that takes care of us.
