Well, it came sooner than I thought. Maybe by the time I'm married and have kids I'll be, like, a supermom! Heheh. The little girl I baby-sit has finally turned 2 years old this week, and already her parents want to get her potty trained. In fact, they decided today to start potty training her while I'm here. So, I'm the first to teach her to do everything, annnnd I have NO clue what in the world I'm doing!! How hard can it be, right? Well, I set the timer for every hour so that I could run her to the bathroom and try it out, but the first try we already had an accident. Oh what a mess!
Now I know a little bit what it feels like for moms that are potty training. Its kinda hard right now because she can't talk that much, so she can't tell me if she's gone or if she needs to go. Oh well, its good for me to learn something new every day!!

Wow! 2 years old, that seems awful young. Both of my boys weren't potty trained until they were 3. I do wish you the best with that. It's hard when they CAN talk much less when they can't.
Isn't Thomas and Amy potty training Lil' T right now? He's only like a year and a couple months old....
Maybe you can get some tips from our Amy =)
sound's like fun to me.
I remember those days.LOL
One of my kids fell in the hole. And that stop the training for awhile.
Sometimes when it is to soon the adult is trained not the child.
I wish you all the luck, I am not a good potty trainer at all. I used the candy in a dish for Samuel, everytime he went potty he got a candy. He still wants candy though.
Well I may try to set the timer for like every 30 minutes. I started training my oldest at 18 months and she was doing great until she started having trouble with her tummy. When we finally got her trained she was about 21/2, I haven't even thought about training JoHannah she is 19 months. I think I learned I was trying a little to early with Jada so I am waiting a litte longer for JoHannah. Have fun and I will say a prayer for you and the little one.
Sounds like YOU will be the one that is potty trained. They have to be able to control the muscle and it comes different for each child. They may be rushing things. A good sign is when they wake up dry in the morning a couple times. Another good sign is when they tell you they have to go. I wanted THEM to be trained and not ME. Good luck!
Oh I'm so sorry that you have to deal with this! It takes forever to get them through it :( I hope it goes okay for you!
oh, that's funny! Sorry it took so long for my isabella to be potty trained! Man that was gross! :)
