Giving up..

I've been getting ready for the tupperware party for tomorrow night, and I decided I wanted to make a few desserts for the ladies that all come. I made brown sugar fudge and "Whoopie Pie". The whoopie pies turned out like what you see in the picture above. Floppy and gushing out. I tried and tried to make these look pretty, but with the marshmellow fluff and the soft cookie...it doesnt really work.
Not sure why they didn't turn out looking like these. I think I used every bowl in the house and now have a very messy kitchen to clean and only 3 whoopie pies to show for it all...sigh. Maybe I'll make it into a cake...with the filling on top..hmmm...

LOL, this reminds me of my cooking, it never turns out like the picture I see in the cookbook. But I'm SURE they were JUST as delicious as they were supposed to be!!! They still look delicious to me!

Sorry Raine! At least your trying to make them up ahead so you know how they'll turn out. I would have just made them the day of and would have freaked out when they didn't turn out right. Sis.Julie is right, i bet they will taste great. The cake idea sounds good too! Can't wait to see you tonight =D

Is that the cake you made for the Tupperware Party ?! My Goodness, That frosting was the BEST ever. Thanks for having us over, it was so much fun. I'm just now catching up on blogs and I'm so thankful all's well after Wall-E chewing into the cord!
